2 year photo session

Back in August we had Hawkins' 2 year photo session.  The same person has photographed Hawkins since he was born and we LOVE Adam with Art of Life Photography!

Here are some of my faves:

Gates!

We decided to do a 4-D ultra sound of our sweet baby Gates.
Isn't he the cutest?

Ok, this is crazy.
Here is Gates' profile at 31 weeks

And here was Hawkins' profile at 32 weeks.
They are twins!

Photos!

I have been really bad about posting lately, so here are some recent pics to show you what we have been up to!

Hawkins is all boy and bumps his head about once a week :(  Poor baby.

He loves to shave with his Daddy!

See his black eye?

We really love ice cream around here!

Sick day.  He wanted me to hold him this WHOLE day.  It was wonderful :)

He was obsessed with Miller Anne's easel.
Santa may or may not be bringing one this year!

Another Atlanta trip!

Well, we loved the zoo so much we had to go back!

This time we went with Daddy! Our family of 3 went one weekend to spend some quality time together.

Hawkins is really SO good when we go to Atlanta.  Now that we live in Americus the drive is only a little over 2 hours and we always stay with my sister, which means he has his own room.   He is the most high maintenance sleeper, but he does well in the pack and play there, and we stay as quiet as we can in her apartment.  Of course he does end up staying up late and we are busy all day, so he is tired.

We actually went on Thursday this time, so we had a long weekend of fun!  Aunt Nina took Hawkins to Lego land Friday morning so Mommy could have a couple of hours by myself.  Those minutes go by very fast in Atlanta!

Saturday morning we went back to the zoo.  It was more crowded this time, but still fun.

We got to see the elephants this time

Sunday we had brunch with some friends and their babies.

It is always fun to go back to the city where we met and see old friends, shop and have fun!

Mommy / Hawkins trip to Atlanta

Back in August Hawkins and I headed to Atlanta to visit some of Mommy's friends.  My friend, Libby, was about to have her second baby and wanted to have one last excursion with us and our sons.  It was so much fun!

Here is Hawkins and Libby's son, Gardner - ready for bed!

The next day we went to the Atlanta Zoo.
Here is Hawkins with the kangaroos

The pandas were a favorite!

Giraffes and zebras

A ride on the Choo Choo

We had a play date and dinner that night with Caulie and Slade.
Here are all the pregnant ladies.  They make me look small!

All my friends and our babies! (and the newly engaged Virginia...she will catch up soon!)

Our last day we went to the Aquariam.
I have to admit I like the zoo better, but I think Hawkins will like it in a few years.

Sweet boys

We had so much fun visiting with friends and doing these "Atlanta" things for the first time.
I love showing Hawkins new things!
