Time is flying and Millie is FIVE months!!

Millie is going through so many milestones right now. First - sleep...

She started waking up several times a night, and I created a bad habit of nursing her back to sleep. A couple of weeks of several wake ups a night and I knew it was time to cry it out. Right after Christmas I took her out of the Magic Merlin sleep suit, put her in a sleep sack and let her cry it out. It went really well and she really didn’t cry that much. The first night she went to sleep fine, but woke up and cried for about 45 minutes from 9-10pm and would sleep until 5am for about a week. Now she will sleep all night hit or miss....I don't make her cry it out that often ;)

She is taking a bottle MUCH better, so I started giving her some formula mixed with breast milk in a bottle for her nighttime feeding and she loves it! Sometimes she will sleep all night, but not consistent.

I started giving her a little baby food, but she is not so sure about it. She does not like to be fed...she likes to feed herself! I give her oats/quinoa baby cereal mixed with baby food sometimes, but have actually started doing Baby Led Weaning. I did this with Gates and it's awesome.

Here is what Millie is doing:

-She is taking a bottle MUCH better

-We started giving her a bottle at night and she loves it (5 or 6oz)

-Just started wearing 6-9 month clothes and size 3 diapers

-She loves to go for a walk in her stroller

-She loves to play on her play mat/ play gym
