Three Months

Millie is three months!

November 11, 2018

She weighs about 13 pounds, wears 3-6 month clothes and size 1 diapers.

Millie continues to be a sweet baby. She is pretty laid back and sleeps great. Millie is not sleeping through the night, but she has been my best night sleeper so far. She sleeps from 8 or 9pm until 4am and then usually until 7am!

Still loves the double swaddle: Miracle Blanket and then Ollie swaddle…but we may have to change this soon b/c she is moving like crazy in her crib! I just removed the incline sleep positioner from her crib because she is moving around so much! We tried the Magic Merlin sleep suit and the Halo swaddle and she did not like either!

We have started to get on more of a schedule. Right now she eats around 7am, 10am, 1pm, 4pm, 6pm and 8:00pm. She stays awake for about an hour between naps. She takes 1 or 2 naps in her crib, but really loves her swing.

We just took our first trip as a family of 5 to Cashiers for Fall break. It was fun, but interesting….she does NOT like the car seat! She did great in the pack n play though.

I have started putting a bib on her b/c she drools and spits up alot!

She is an angel and we could not imagine life with out our Millie girl!

Millie is Two Months

I can’t believe my girl is 2 months old! Millie is just a dream baby.

She finally got on some Zantac for her reflux and it has helped A LOT!

She has started going to bed earlier. We start bath round 7:45 or 8pm and she goes to sleep around 8:30 or 9pm and wakes up between 2:30 and 4am and then usually one more time around 5, but sometimes goes all the way until 6:30am! She loves being swaddled in her Miracle Blanket.

Millie has really started smiling and it is the MOST precious thing! It will make you melt!

She is pretty easy going and sleeps well. We have tried to get on the Moms on Call schedule, but just can’t do it! Millie loves to eat even 2 hours (sometimes more, sometimes less!). She stay awake for about an hour between naps. She takes 1 or 2 naps in her crib wrapped up in her Miracle Blanket swaddle or in her swing. She loves her swing!

She doesn't really love her carseat. We have both been spoiled with Christine here to help and Millie doesn't have to ride in the car very often.

This towel will always be my favorite!

Millie One Month!

This little lump of sugar turned one month old September 11!

She looks JUST like Robbie!

Millie weighed 9 lbs 2 oz at her one month doctor appointment - big girl!

She slept in our room in her bassinet for a little over 3 weeks, but now sleeps in her crib. She sleeps on the incline sleep positioner and it's great b/c of her gagging and reflux.

She was going to sleep around 10 or 11pm, but it's now a little earlier at 9:30 or 10pm. She wakes up to eat somewhere between 1:30 and 2:30am, then 5am and then maybe 7 or 8am. Every night is different, but she has been doing pretty well!

We loved the woombie zip up swaddle until week 4 when she started moving her hands too much and waking herself up. I got out the Miracle Blanket and she LOVES it! She instantly starting sleeping longer!

She usually takes one good 2 hour nap and just cat naps the rest of the time. We are so smitten with her! 💕💕
